Hi!
I’m Emelie “Mimi” Nordholm, the heart and hands behind Blue Traditions. As a Swedish transplant to California, a homeschooling mom, and a history enthusiast, I have always loved working with my hands. While I enjoy reading about the past, I believe history isn't just found in textbooks—it is carried in our hands, woven into our spaces, and hidden in the stories that shape our world. Whether I am hand-tooling a piece of leatherwork or helping a child discover the roots of our communities, my mission remains the same: to connect the past with the present with intention, beauty, gratitude, and purpose.
